Frequently Asked Questions

Dog Head Tilt

Now. Now is the best time to get started. Puppies can (and do) begin training from the moment they are brought home, even as young as 7 or 8 weeks. Young puppies’ brains are sponges for training, learning new manners and skills. Starting young also means avoiding a number of problem behaviors, rather than treating them after they’ve started

Not at all. Dogs of any age are fully capable of learning new skills!

The two items mandatory for all of our students are high value treats and a treat pouch

Your trainer will try their best to keep costs down by utilizing equipment you already own whenever possible. It is possible you may need to purchase additional equipment based on your individual case. Optional purchase suggestions will be made to you throughout your Training Plan

That depends on the current state of your dog’s training, your goals, and the amount of time and effort you put into training. Each Custom Training Plan is designed to provide you with as much information, and as many tools as possible so you can handle your dog’s training upon completion.

At this time, we are not accepting dogs that have either human or canine aggression

Good Question! There are a number of factors involved. Some other -in-home trainers have a training facility. Even though you aren’t using it, you are still paying for it. We don’t spend lots of money on advertising, further saving you money. We feel our work and reviews speak for themselves. Furthermore, we firmly believe that dog training should be something that is obtainable for everyone, not just the super wealthy.
